About The Conference

In line with the vision of the Faculty of Pharmacy to achieve leadership and excellence, this conference results from the ongoing collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University and the Middle East Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine Professionals (MEAPP/UK). The conference will be held under the theme: "Pharmaceutical Medicine Domiciliation in the Middle East."

The two-day conference will bring together expert speakers from prestigious local and international universities and institutions, such as King’s College London, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK, and The International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine (IFAPP).

These experts will join representatives from regulatory bodies, the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean, and leaders from the pharmaceutical sector across the Middle East to engage in a vibrant exchange of ideas and insights.

The conference program includes ten keynote speeches, two panel discussions, two workshops, and student presentations in the form of posters. Each segment is designed to address the most pressing challenges and latest trends in clinical research and new drug development, as well as the future directions for clinical studies in the region.

Conference Objectives

This conference seeks to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Networking locally and internationally with experts in regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance to achieve pharmaceutical security.
  2.  Building a roadmap for developing scientific capacities in clinical studies in Jordan and the Middle East.
  3. Formulating regulatory strategies to encourage and facilitate clinical studies locally and internationally.
  4. Raising pharmaceutical medicine awareness about the importance of clinical studies in pharmaceutical security.
