Workshop on "Auditing" for students of Amman Arab University
In alignment with the vision and mission of Amman Arab University to advance the educational system and enhance student competencies for the job market, Department of Accounting at College of Business organized a training workshop for its students. The session was conducted by Dr. Hudhaifa Al-Daghameen, an expert and certified auditor, under the coordination of Dr. Abdullah Al-Asouli, a faculty member in the Accounting Department.
The workshop aimed to equip accounting students with essential auditing skills and practical experience to meet the demands of the job market. It addressed the historical development and significance of the auditing profession, international and U.S. auditing standards, and the ethical and regulatory requirements for certified auditors. Additionally, it covered the structure and organization of the accounting profession and its regulatory bodies in Jordan, the U.S., and the U.K., as well as the licensing requirements for auditors in Jordan.
