Burden of Minds

By: Prof. Dr. Younes Megdadi

Praise be to God for the blessing of the mind, and without this blessing, none of us would have been able to live and adapt to life and its pressures and at various levels of life, which many see as the reason for the glut of our minds, and burdening humans with great intellectual burdens that exceed the capacity of the human mind, which constituted a transformation in our ways of thinking. As a result, we have become unable to find for ourselves a space of comfort or psychological calm. Rather, excessive emotions and nervousness have become part of our daily behavior, and in the end we discover that we are burdened with a burden that far exceeds our capacity as human beings.

As an example, but not limited to this phenomenon, we find ourselves - young and old - talking about everything, at length, and in the smallest details, and as an example, but not limited to it, we find everyone talking about economic, political, and social conditions and their solutions, as if we were lecturers in the most prestigious universities, and this scene does not indicate the proportions of learning and abundance. Testimonies, and even the great amount of life and livelihood pressures that have overwhelmed our minds, which prompted the majority of us to talk and express our opinion about such details, regardless of the correctness of the talk or not, with our clear disregard for the specialists, even with good intentions, and in this case we may not witness this behavior. Intellectual in other societies to this extent or in this way, considering everything that happens around them is a public matter and concerned with it by specialists, which is why we often find them to have a great degree of psychological, personal and social calm.

As a matter of foreplay, and this is what is common, we find ourselves in the conversation stage of our meetings and social relationships, experiencing many of life’s pressures, and we begin to list solutions with high confidence, based on the given circumstances that govern the subject of the conversation. What is strange is that we find ourselves speaking with strictness and in a scene dominated by emotion, nervousness, and the language of projection and hatred. Regardless of the age and qualifications of the speaker. This leads us to the conclusion that: There is a great burden that may tire our minds, which leads us to destroy them, while we are certain that there is no person or society devoid of the pressures of life, but unfortunately, in many cases, we find that its consequences have become a mental burden on us and occupy our minds with the smallest details, and the evidence is what we witness from... Psychological and physical diseases, societal problems, and others as a result of occupying and consuming our minds in unfavorable ways that may harm our health. There is much evidence and evidence.

We agree to a large extent that life pressures may disturb our psychological, personal and social state, but we do not forget the prevailing popular proverb “the mind is an adornment” and the wisdom behind such working conditions and with care in controlling the mental map, trying to relax the stimulants of the mind and tongue, and not making our minds a repository for life’s crises, which have become dominant. On our minds and behaviors, it has become clearly visible within features of turmoil, emotions, distress, etc.

We look forward with keen eyes to this situation due to its importance and its direct impact on our daily lives and the health of our minds, which requires all of us to reconsider the scale of priorities and ways of thinking, and how to deal with the pressures of life in order to avoid their burdens, out of concern for our minds and the expansion of the mental map that no longer accommodates all the annoyances that surround our lives. And also not to involve ourselves in anything that disturbs our calm and comfort, and not to intrude in knowing everything and delving into conversation about everything in order to protect ourselves from the swamp of misery in light of the excessive ceiling of ambition, which prompts us to emphasize and carefully think and seriously think about creating an intellectual and societal culture in which the logic of the human mind prevails. A feeling of calm, positivity, and psychological and societal tranquility, and consolidating a culture of sophistication derived from sobriety and balance of minds as an actual asset that is vibrant with constructive thought as a nucleus in building civilization and intellectual urbanization towards achieving our ambitions and aspirations across generations.
