Universities and Youth Leadership Industry By: Prof. Dr. Younes Megdadi

Universities are large incubators for young people as educational institutions that consider themselves the real factory in preparing future leaders of conscious and educated youth who are equipped with life, knowledge and intellectual skills to be the basic building block in building their societies and at various levels, as they are the age group capable of change and making the future so that societies can be proud of them with their giving loaded with determination and will in light of Their broad visions of hope and love of giving and belonging.

No one denies that one of the universities' strategic priorities is to build youth in a manner that is in line with the data and requirements of the age. Preparing them with what is required of them as pioneering educational institutions directly concerned with building youth.

Diversity and change in direction in the priorities of universities is an indicator that the majority of us notice based on their educational role, social responsibility and community service in all its sectors, especially in light of the political, economic and technological transformations, the information revolution, openness to the world via the Internet and the multiplicity of social media, which has become a preoccupation for all groups and sectors of society.

Recently, we have noticed a great and clear interest in youth as the largest demographic group, and for their well-known dedication to their integration in various fields and domains in light of the directions and interest of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein and his trustworthy Crown Prince, may God protect and preserve them, and directing the concerned state institutions to focus on youth as a strategic choice. It is irreversible, emphasizing the leadership role of youth, which resulted in an official and media orientation to clarify the importance and role of youth in construction and change, including the tendency to involve them in the political and partisan process as evidence of the faith of the victorious Hashemite leadership that youth are the makers of the future.

We believe that the area of responsibility of universities towards youth has expanded, which requires them to start reconsidering their priorities to enable them to develop programs whose content combines science and creating youth leaders, and open meetings led by youth themselves, and allocating part of the credit hours from the university’s compulsory and elective requirements with topics that touch their aspirations And their aspirations, and motivating young people within youth initiatives aimed at highlighting their identity and capabilities to be a nucleus that enables them to integrate in all aspects of life and society to establish a culture of shouldering responsibility with visions that are in line with the aspirations of young generations led by young people on whom we count on the best forms of construction and change so that the march continues

It is hoped that the universities will remain one of the tributaries of the youth leadership industry towards building the future in light of the aspirations of young people and their future aspirations in light of the new global transformation and change in its various fields and fields, in harmony with the aspirations of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein and his trustworthy Crown Prince, may God protect and preserve them.
