Amman Arab University Holds Workshop on 'Dealing with Bullying' at Latin Patriarchate Schools"
The College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University organized a workshop titled "Dealing with Bullying" for ninth-grade students at the Latin Patriarchate Secondary Schools in Al-Fuheis. The workshop, aimed at raising awareness about bullying.
Dr. Al-Ajili focused on gender-based bullying and the role of self-confidence training in prevention. Dr. Banat discussed the various forms of bullying—physical, verbal, psychological, social, and cyber—and the importance of reinforcing individual strengths to build resilience in victims. Dr. Arabiyat covered the psychological, academic, and social effects of bullying, along with strategies for managing bullies and promoting mental resilience.
At the end of the workshop, school principal Ms. Khulood Al-Salman thanked the university representatives by presenting them with certificates of appreciation for their efforts and the positive feedback received from both students and teachers.
