Amman Arab University participates in the 2nd International Conference on AI for Sustainable Development
Amman Arab University participated in the Second International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development, organized by the Academy of Bright Minds and chaired by Her Excellency Alsharefa Bodur Bent Abdulilah. Held under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Rajwa bint Ali at the Bristol Hotel in Amman, the conference brought together university presidents, faculty members, and researchers to discuss the role of AI in advancing sustainable development, with a special focus on education.
Amman Arab University was represented by Prof. Mohammed Al-Widyan, Dr. Ola Malkawi, Dr. Mohammad Shehab, and Dr. Kamal Elyan. The conference covered a variety of sectors, including education, healthcare, industry, and law, aiming to explore AI’s potential in achieving sustainable development goals.
Dr. Husam Al Hamad, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University, emphasized the importance of faculty participation in such conferences for knowledge enhancement and fostering collaboration on AI and sustainability issues.
