Engineer Miqdadi from “Amman Arab University” Joins Workshop on Launching the Sustainable Aviation Fuel
In alignment with the directives of Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, Engineer Ibrahim Miqdadi, a faculty member in the College of Aviation Sciences, took part in a workshop to launch the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) initiative under the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO ACT-SAF). The initiative, was carried out as a feasibility study in Jordan in collaboration with the Netherlands and in coordination with the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission.
Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the College of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University, highlighted the significance of research efforts in the field of sustainable aviation fuel. He underscored its role in reducing harmful gas emissions and protecting the environment, aligning with the global sustainable development goals.
