College of Pharmacy hosts a Workshop Entitled: "Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics"
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University recently organized a specialized workshop titled "Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics," aimed at introducing students to the latest standards and scientific principles for ensuring the quality and safety of cosmetics, in line with international guidelines.
The workshop, led by Ms. Dina Abu Saleh, a faculty member at the college, and supported by laboratory supervisors, offered hands-on training in good manufacturing practices throughout the entire cosmetics production process. This included selecting raw materials and following the necessary steps through to the final stages of production. Students had the opportunity to learn how to manufacture basic cosmetic products, such as moisturizing creams, deodorants, and hair care items, while adhering to international quality standards. This practical experience enhanced their skills and boosted their confidence in applying industry standards.
