College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University Conducts an Awareness Lecture on the Dangers of Early Marriage for Students at Al-Baqa’a Preparatory School
As part of its social responsibility and the importance of networking with local community institutions, the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences tt Amman Arab University organized a lecture titled “The Dangers of Early Marriage” at Al-Baqa’a Preparatory School. The lecture, presented by Dr. Suhaila Banat, a faculty member at the university’s College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, addressed the risks associated with early marriage and the consequences it has on a girl’s ability to establish a successful family.
These challenges stem from the lack of physical, social, and emotional maturity in young girls, as well as their inability to continue their education due to marriage and the subsequent responsibilities related to the husband and children.
