Students of "Amman Arab University" Learn About Jordan's History Through Museum Visits
As part of its extracurricular activities for the 2023/2024 academic year, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University organized cultural and recreational trips for students, supervised by Mr. Moaz Al-Sharman and Mr. Malik Alian. These trips aimed to enhance cultural awareness and highlight the historical and social significance of various sites in Jordan.
The first trip was to the Jordan Museum, which showcases the country’s rich cultural heritage and interactive exhibits covering 1.5 million years of human history, including artifacts like the Ain Ghazal Statues and the Dead Sea Scrolls. The museum serves as both a tourist attraction and an educational center, continually developing its exhibitions and programs.
The second trip took students to the Royal Automobile Museum, the first public car museum in the Arab region, inaugurated by King Abdullah II in 2003 as a tribute to the late King Hussein. The museum features 80 vehicles that reflect the late king's life and highlights Jordan's history from the 1920s to the present.
