President of Amman Arab University Visits the Saudi Cultural Attaché
Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, has recently visited the Saudi Arabian Cultural Attaché in Saudi Arabia, where he met Professor Mohammad bin Khuzaym Al-Shammari. They discussed ways of strengthening academic cooperation, enhancing educational ties, and increasing the number of Saudi students at Amman Arab University.
The meeting was attended by senior members of the university, including Professor Hassan Al-Zoubi, Dean of the College of Business, Dr. Wafa Al-Eid, Dean of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Dr. Mustafa Al-Husban, Acting Dean of the College of Law, and Dr. Miteb Al-Otaibi, Chairman of the Committee of Attracting Students. Mr. Salem Al-Dosari and Mr. Musa Al-Zahrani members of the Saudi Cultural Attaché have also attended the meeting.
Professor Al-Widyan praised the Saudi Cultural Mission’s active role in supporting Saudi students and highlighted the university’s efforts to prepare qualified graduates for local and global job markets. He emphasized Amman Arab University’s competitive edge that appears in academic programs, faculties, and cultural activities, as well as the university’s readiness to develop new specializations that meet market needs. The president has also noted the university’s significant progress in international rankings and technological advancements.
Professor Al-Shammari commended Amman Arab University’s contribution to improving higher education and its growing reputation in the Arab world. He expressed satisfaction with the positive feedback from Saudi students, many of whom are pleased with the academic environment, facilities, and support the university afford to the students.
This meeting marked a significant step that strengthens the relationship between Amman Arab University and the Saudi Cultural Mission. Both parties have expressed commitment to expanding collaboration for the benefit of Saudi students and academic excellence.
