Amman Arab University Instills Values of Cooperation Among Students Through Unique Initiatives
Amman Arab University has launched the initiatives "Give Me Your Book" and "Student Guidance," aimed at enhancing the culture of sharing and empathy among students. These initiatives align with the university's vision to strengthen social bonds among students and encourage them to adopt human values such as cooperation and instilling a sense of social responsibility in their hearts. This is achieved by creating opportunities for positive interaction and effective participation among members of the student community, contributing to the development of a comprehensive and supportive educational environment for all.
Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, sponsored the launch these initiatives organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The event was attended by Professor Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, and Ms. Shatha Al-Rabi, Head of Student Guidance Department, along with active participation from students across various disciplines.
Dr. Al-Widiyan expressed his support for these initiatives, which aim to enhance the spirit of cooperation among students, emphasizing their role in deepening the sense of responsibility. He stressed the importance of involving all university students in such initiatives due to their positive impact on the student community.
In turn, Dr. Bani Hamdan pointed out that the "Give Me Your Book" initiative is part of the quarterly initiatives of the Deanship of Student Affairs, aimed at promoting social responsibility among students through the exchange of scientific references and books, thereby enhancing the concept of sustainability by allowing multiple students to benefit from the same books. This helps alleviate the financial burden on students and provides them with diverse educational resources. The "Student Guidance" initiative aims to facilitate the adaptation process between students and the university environment
It is worth noting that Amman Arab University seeks, through these initiatives, to promote a culture of giving and participation, encouraging students to take an interest in social responsibility, which is part of the university's mission to build a conscious and responsible generation capable of contributing to building a better future.
