A Joint Workshop at “Amman Arab University” on Stress Management and Prioritization
Under the patronage of the President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences and the Sustainable Development Committee at Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the Office of Practical Education, Creativity and Community Service, implemented a workshop directed to women in the local community entitled “Managing Stress and Arranging Priorities,” in the presence of the Dean of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences. Dr. Wafa Al-Eid, and Chairman of the Sustainable Development Committee, Dr. Sherine Abu Ghazaleh.
The workshop was presented by Professor. Suhaila Banat and Professor. Khaled Abu Shaira from the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University. The workshop included teaching women skills to deal with psychological stress, and doing exercises to help them adapt and relax, as the participants expressed the extent to which they benefited from this workshop and their desire to apply what was learned during the workshop in their lives.
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Al-Eid and Dr. Abu Ghazaleh honored the lecturers, and the Director of the Office of Practical Education, Creativity and Community Service, Ms. Basma Abu Jaber, in appreciation of their efforts in making the workshop a success, as holding such workshops comes within the policy of Amman Arab University and its orientations on the necessity of participation and networking with various local community institutions to achieve the goals of Sustainable development in the field of education and training.
