Concluding the Theoretical Aspect of the STEP Project for Vocational Training and Education at Amman Arab University
The theoretical aspect of the STEP program for vocational training and education was concluded at Amman Arab University, implemented by the Business Development Center - BDC, in cooperation with SPARK, funded by the Islamic Development Bank and the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, which targeted graduates and students of Amman Arab University who are expected to graduate, and also targets Jordanians and refugees. The program provides training on the skills required in the labor market for a period of one month, followed by practical training within the work environment in various sectors for a period of three months. During the first phase of the program, approximately 30 students from the university participated.
It is worth noting that the STEP program aims to provide graduates of Amman Arab University with skills that will help them succeed in the labor market and enhance their employment opportunities with the conclusion of the theoretical aspect, which lasted for a month, the second phase will begin, which is training in institutions and companies and within an organized training program, which in turn will help increase employment opportunities for program participants.
