College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University participated in the Seventh International Conference on Educational and Social Sciences, which was held in Antalya - Turkey and organized by the Euro-Arab Organization for Environmental and Water Research in the Desert over a period of 3 days. Professor. Suhaila Banat, a faculty member in the Department of Psychological and Educational Counseling, presented the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, a research paper entitled “Perceptions of Psychological and Educational Counseling Students in Universities to Practice Digital Counseling.”
In the research paper, prof. Banat spoke about the importance and role of digital counseling in current life, the importance of keeping up with new developments, and the necessity of employing technology in counseling work. She touched on the most important findings of the study, which are that students have positive perceptions towards practicing digital counseling to a high degree, and that there are differences. These perceptions are in favor of males and in favor of private university students, and the emergence of differences in perception towards the practice of digital guidance for the benefit of postgraduate students. The study also recommended the need to emphasize the practice of digital guidance and the use of technology in the work of the advisor.
It is worth noting that Amman Arab University works to encourage and support the participation of faculty members in Arab, regional and international conferences because of its impact on the exchange of scientific ideas and experiences between academics from various participating countries.
