College of Business "Amman Arab University” Launches "Draw a Smile 2" Initiative
As part of the series of charitable initiatives pursued by the College of Business at the Amman Arab University, and in order to activate the role of the University in the fruitful community partnership, College of Business at the Amman Arab University launched the charitable initiative "Draw a Smile 2", with the contribution of students and members of the academic and administrative staff at the University by donating supplies for Eid Al-Adha (including Approximately 3000 pieces of clothes, toys for children, bags of sweets for Eid), which were distributed to children in the following areas: the Southern Valley Brigade in cooperation with the Ghor Al-Safi Orphanage Centre, Ain Al-Basha Brigade, Al-Baqa’a Camp, Abu Hamed Village, Marsa’a Village, and the Northern Mazar District in cooperation with the Center Northern shrine district for community services.
This initiative had an important role in promoting human solidarity and drawing a smile on children's faces. Those in charge in various regions appreciated the humanitarian role of the University by promoting the values of solidarity that the university believes in and which it seeks to instill in its students.
In this regard, Dean of the College of Business, Prof. Hassan Al-Zoubi, said that the launch of this initiative came with the kind support and support of the University President, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, who encouraged the launch of such community initiatives, which enhance the spirit of solidarity with the local community, which represents one of the constants that the university administration believes in.
When launching the initiative, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of the University, emphasized the continuity of this series of initiatives throughout the year on the occasion of the holidays "Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha" as well as at the beginning of the winter season "winter clothing". Prof. Al-Zoubi indicated that the idea and supervision of this initiative was the blessed efforts of Dr. Ohood Al-Khasawneh, Head of the Finance and Banking Department at the college, who along with a group of college students, made strenuous efforts for the success of this initiative, and a number of faculty members participated in the College of Business and other colleges.
