College of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University Obtains the Accreditation and Licensing of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as a Training Party and Examination Center
In light of the efforts of the administration of Amman Arab University to obtain international accreditations and licenses for all its majors, College of Aviation Sciences obtained the accreditation and licensing of the European Safety Agency as a training body and a center for EASA exams for aircraft maintenance (B1) and avionics (B2) and (Part-147). This license came in cooperation with the Middle East Aviation Academy, the University's strategic partner, and after a team of European Safety Agency auditors visited the university and verified the eligibility of the College of Aviation Sciences for this license, achieving all accreditation requirements for aircraft maintenance and avionics. A graduate of Amman Arab University in aircraft maintenance (B1) and holder of an EASA license is considered a Line Maintenance Certifying Technician -Mechanical .The holder of this license has the right to approve and issue a Certificate of Release to Service-CRS for the work that is carried out on the aircraft structure - aircraft engines - fans - mechanical and hydraulic systems - electrical systems of the aircraft (related to the structure or engine) - replacement of units Line Replaceable Unit-LRU for electronic devices
As for a graduate of the College of Aviation Sciences who holds a license (B2) in aviation electronics, he is considered a Line Maintenance Certifying Technician-Avionics, as the holder of this license has the right to adopt and issue a Certificate of Release to Service-CRS on electrical systems on the plane.
