College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University and in Cooperation with the Jordanian Association of Psychology Implements a Symposium on Licensing Workers in the Health Professions
Within the series of community and scientific activities of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, and in cooperation with the Jordanian Society of Psychology, Dr. Hussein Tarawneh, a faculty member in the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences, implemented an introductory symposium on (Instructions for renewing licenses for workers in health professions) in order to complement the objectives of the plan that was It was developed in cooperation with the various community partnerships of the college, in the presence of a number of holders of bachelor’s, master’s and PH.D degrees in allied health professions.
During the symposium, various areas were highlighted, such as defining the objectives of the continuous professional development program to raise the efficiency of workers in the health care sector in Jordan, how to provide high-quality services in the community, and enrich knowledge among workers in different majors, in order to ensure the enhancement of the reputation of medical and health competencies in Jordan, and what are the accredited parties for the purposes of holding the activities of the continuing professional development program, and the tasks of the councils related to the continuing health professional development program, and the activities of continuing health professional development were presented, and the indicative table for calculating the hours of continuous health professional development.
At the end of the symposium, the lecturer, Dr. Tarawneh, answered the attendees' questions, and everyone praised the contents of the symposium and its practical importance, and they thanked Amman Arab University for its continuous support and continuous service to individuals and institutions of Jordanian society.
