Amman Arab Educational Institute holds a consultative meeting in the Jordanian Arabic Language Academy on modern technology and its employment in learning the Arabic language
Within the series of scientific activities of the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University represented by the Department of Administration, Curricula and Teaching Methods, a member of the faculty at the faculty, Dr. Anas Hanandeh, visited the Jordanian Arabic Language Academy, where he met with members of the Arabic Language and Technology Committee in the Jordanian Arabic Language Academy, namely Prof. Dr. Abdul Majeed Naseer, Prof. Dr. Hammam Ghasib, Prof. Dr. Musa Al-Nazer, and Prof. Dr. Fathi Malkawi.
Al-Hananda gave a presentation on modern technology and how it is employed in learning and teaching in general and in learning the Arabic language in particular. He also reviewed the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, metaverse, augmented reality, and virtual reality used in this field, where a discussion was held with the committee on how to make the best use of the aforementioned technology.
In teaching the Arabic language in particular, and the Arabization of sciences in general, and it has been pointed out that the field is wide and many ideas can be applied and employed in this field, in addition to the efforts made by the Academy in preserving the integrity of the Arabic language and promoting it to keep pace with the requirements of the knowledge society.The efforts made by the Amman Arab University in the field of modern technology and the uses of virtual and augmented reality technologies applied in the education process at the university were also discussed. Members of the Arabic Language Academy expressed their welcome to cooperate with the Amman Arab University in this field in the future.
