Amman Arab University Participates in the Arbitration of the 18th National Super POWERED Robot Competition
AMMAN - Based on the vision of Amman Arab University in community participation and its social responsibility towards the country with all its components and capabilities, Dean of the College of Aviation Sciences, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, chaired the arbitration committees of the national competition in its eighteenth edition of the robot under the title SUSTAINABLE ENERGY SUPER POWERED, organized by the Jubilee Center for Educational Excellence / King Hussein Foundation, with the participation of (65) accredited referees from all universities and academic and training institutions, and with the participation of Dr. Sharaf Al-Zoubi, Dr. Fatima Al-Shennaq, and Dr. Haifa Abu Al-Adous from the College of Computing and Informatics Sciences at Amman Arab University. The arbitration process continued for Saturday and Sunday 4 - 5/3/2023.
36 36 teams from various private and public schools in the Kingdom and educational centers participated in this national competition, and the results were as follows:
First place award on the Kingdom Hasad Educational Schools, Second Place Award Zaha Cultural Center, and Third Place Award Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Secondary School for Girls
The awards included the following axes: Design and Programming Hub: the First Place Award received by - Al-Jushen Company for Educational Activities and the Second Place Award received by - Jubilee School
The focus of performing robot tasks: Zaha Cultural Center won the first place, and the educational harvest schools won the second place
In this regard, Dr. Al-Assaf said that this event is the most prominent in the field of educational robot, and is held annually to address global issues, where each team presents a specialized scientific project with the aim of finding innovative solutions to these problems.
