AAU as a Member in EC-Council
According to AAU’s vision to cope with international academic and vocational developments in the field of Computer Science and Cybersecurity, the University represented by Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics, got the membership of EC-Council specialized in cybersecurity for raising the standard of students academically and vocationally, qualifying them to compete in labor market through their participation in professional training courses and workshops and getting them the international vocational certificates in cybersecurity.
AAU, represented by Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics, with its partner EC-Council, will give students the opportunity to attend free specialized workshops and training courses organized by EC- Council annually and some of them will be adopted in the study plans of the Faculty.
Students will get preferential discounts up to 70% on fees of international certificates. According to the agreement with the academy, the University will be an accredited center for the academy to conduct various courses and tests of EC-Council. Dr. Husam Al-Hamad, Dean of Computer Science and Informatics at AAU, pointed out that EC-Council is regarded to be an American Academy, established in 2001, offered education, training, certificates, and services specialized in cybersecurity in more than 90 states all over the world, accredited specialists in cybersecurity to enhance security from E-hackings globally, and rewarded accredited certificates internationally, such as CEH, CTIA, CHFI, CNDA, and CPENT.
