A Training Course of "Specialized Language in Aviation" at Amman Arab University
The Deanship of Student Affairs/ Office of Career Guidance and Follow-up of Alumni at Amman Arab University held a training course entitled "Specialized Language in Aviation" presented by the Dean of the College of Aviation Sciences at the University, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf. This course is fulfilled from 05/11/2022 to 10/12/ 2022, where the implementation of this course is implemented by the office within the student’s skills portfolio, which qualifies the student for the labor market.
The course aimed at observing and learning (parts) of language and theoretical/functional foundations of key domains, focusing on listening and raising students' abilities by encouraging them to develop their ability, pick out specific information, learn about the use of intonation, rhythm, pauses, identify stressed words and syllables and develop confidence students and their speaking proficiency, as well as helping students understand and develop the skills required to deal effectively with all types of text they will encounter in their training and workplace, design writing assignments to meet the needs of students in both training and workplace situations, and transfer data from listening text to pictures and from drawing Schematic to notes and instructions and from written text to speaking.
