Amman Arab University Participates in Launching the Second Arab Olympiad for Artificial Intelligence
In the presence of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama , his excellency, President of the Arab Society for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Mr. Ismail Yassin, representatives of public and private universities, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Education, in addition to the CEO of Zaha Cultural Center, Ms. Rania Sobeih, participated Amman Arab University, at the invitation of the representative of the Arab Society for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Jordan, at the launching ceremony of the Second Arab Olympiad for Artificial Intelligence, and in cooperation with the STEAM Training Center. The University was represented by the Dean of the College of Aviation Sciences, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, who spoke about the importance of the Olympiad, which is a set of competitions that represent a platform for Arab youth in the field of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, where students are trained in programming skills and its various applications, in addition to activating teamwork and team spirit.
It is noteworthy that the Olympiads are related to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, represented by mathematics, algorithms, programming, computer vision and expert systems. Moreover, registration for this Olympiad will be from 1/11/2022 to 1/12/2022, and the training phase will be from 2/1/2023 to 30/3/2023, and the festival will start in May 2023.
