Engineering College at Amman Arab University Joins the Arab Organization for Engineering and Technology Accreditation
Within the endeavors of Amman Arab University to achieve its strategic objectives and aspirations to raise the level of quality of academic programs and in pursuit of excellence and entrepreneurship in engineering work at the College of Engineering at the university, the college has been striving to achieve the requirements of local, regional and international accreditations through its offered engineering programs.
The last of these efforts made by Amman Arab University, specifically the College of Engineering, resulted in the college joining the Arab Commission for Engineering and Technological Accreditation of the Federation of Arab Engineers, through the civil engineering and architecture programs for the bachelor’s degree for a period of four years from 2022 to 2026.
This significant engineering accreditation at the regional level comes after the aforementioned programs fulfilled the engineering accreditation standards according to the statute of the Arab Organization for Engineering and Technology Accreditation through a comprehensive file submitted by the College of Engineering at Amman Arab University to the Arab Organization for Engineering and Technological Accreditation.
It is worth noting that the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering at Amman Arab University stems from the university’s mission, vision, and objectives that it seeks to continue to supply the local and regional labor market with distinguished competencies, and its relentless pursuit to prepare qualified and trained engineering cadres that meet the requirements and needs of the labor market and contribute to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development at all levels. Moreover, the college awards a bachelor's degree in three academic programs: Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, and Renewable Energy Engineering.
