An international conference at "Amman Arab University" Recommends Strengthening the Role of Cybersecurity
Amman - The activities of the Fourth International Conference on Computer Sciences and Informatics ICSIC2022, which was organized by the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics on campus under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Al Hanandeh, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, concluded.
The conference aimed at exchanging scientific experiences, transferring experiences, and giving opportunities to young researchers within the university’s permanent mission and vision to support the scientific process, believing in their abilities to make change.
The conference was held on June 28 and 29, 2022, where a group of researchers and experts from the information and communication technology sector participated in the conference activities, as follows:
1. Employing information technology, smart systems solutions, and communications optimally in various sectors, especially education, in line with global developments and royal visions.
2. Making effective partnerships between universities, research centers, telecommunication, and information technology companies to benefit from all expertise and research, and applied capabilities.
3. Directing scientific research in the field of information and communication technology to serve the actual needs of the local community and the labor market.
4. Adopting the development of artificial intelligence, and virtual and augmented reality technologies and integrating them with the systems and applications of industry, business, and government institutions.
5. Supporting research between different disciplines to develop Arab scientific research and raise human capabilities to reach competitiveness and achieve sustainable development.
6. Enhancing the role of cybersecurity by protecting the systems and applications of companies, government, and private, ate institutions.
7. Establishing and developing colleges, departments, and specializations related to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
8. Funding pioneering projects and research in the fields of computing and communications by public and private companies to achieve their goals and directions.
The university seizes the opportunity at the end of the conference to extend its thanks and gratitude to all the parties in the public and private sectors that contributed to supporting the conference and who embodied the true partnership between all national institutions and the concept of social responsibility in its best forms.
