Computer Sciences Holds the 3rd Amman Arab University Programming Competition AAC-PC 2022
With the aim of enhancing and refining students’ skills in programming, problem solving and teamwork, the Cultural Committee at the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of the University, held the third Amman Arab University Programming Competition AAU-PC 2022 in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and competition.
60 students participated in the competition, divided into 20 teams after qualifying from the first preparatory stage. The (Angry Underscore Potatos) team won the first place, which included the students Saad Abu Ryala, Hanan Al-Hadi and Firas Al-Najjar, while the second place went to the (Rama )Team team, which included both the students Rama Ayman, Khaled Al Nabout and Mahmoud Yaghi, and the (Semicolon) team came in third place, which included the students Anas Hokoma, Adam Abu Al Haija and Ahmed Salama.
The three winning teams in the competition were honored with a ceremony attended by the sponsor of the ceremony, President of the University, Vice President Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarwana, Dean of the College, Dr. Hossam Al-Hamad, heads of departments, all faculty members and students, during which financial prizes and certificates of encouragement were distributed to the winning students. The sponsor of the ceremony praised the efforts made in arranging the holding of the competition and stressed the role of such competitions in raising the level of students and their competition in the labor market and stressed that the University would spare no effort to support them financially, morally and scientifically
It is worth noting that the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics holds this competition annually with the aim of qualifying college students and preparing them to participate in national, regional and global competitions.
