Amman Arab University Participates in Arbitration of the 17th National Robot Competition FLL
Coping with Amman Arab University’s message of entrepreneurship and community service, and in order to activate the agreement concluded between the University and the Arab Robotics Association, judging committees were formed for the seventeenth national competition for robotics headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Aviation Sciences at the University, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, the arbitrators, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khasawneh, Dr. Haifa Abu Adous and Miss Isra Abu Hamdi from Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University.
This competition was implemented at the Jubilee Center for Excellence / King Hussein Foundation, and the theme of the competition for this year was the solutions, problems and challenges facing the process of transporting goods in its various forms through the scientific and applied research methods, which come under the title “CARGO CONNECT”, where the participating teams worked to innovate Solutions to transportation problems using different robots.
In an atmosphere of fun and challenge, 290 students and coaches participated in this year’s competition, forming 30 teams, from 10 governorates: “Amman, Madaba, Zarqa, Balqa, Aqaba, Karak, Tafila, Irbid, Jerash, and Mafraq,” and from various government schools. And private, in addition to scientific centers, and competed for the competition centers, which will qualify the participating teams in the Arab Robot Championship, which will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, at the beginning of next July.
