Azerbaijani Ambassador Receives President of “Amman Arab University” to initiate New Horizons of Cooperation
Amman - The Azerbaijani Ambassador in Amman, Mr. Ildar Salimov, received in his office in the headquarter of the embassy, President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan. During the meeting, which was attended by the Secretary of the Azerbaijani Ambassador, Samir Salahov and Eng. Riyad Qudah, and from the University, the Director of the International Bureau and External Relations Dr. Malik Sarhan and Mr. Anas Kasu from the Department of Media and Public Relations, the educational opportunities offered by the University to students, and the efforts exerted by the University to promote the process of teaching and learning through its majors and faculties to reach excellence, as well as embodying the spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity among students, and preparing qualified and trained cadres that meet the requirements and needs of global and local markets.
Prof. Al-Widyan presented forms of joint cooperation and discussed enhancing opportunities for student exchange in the context of opening new areas of cooperation with Azerbaijani universities, and promoting knowledge exchange through available experiences between Amman Arab University and Azerbaijani universities.
For his part, the Azerbaijani Ambassador, Ildar Salimov, appreciated the University's emphasis on entrepreneurship aspects in all its curricula and academic programs, to ensure a qualified student for the future.
