Amman Arab University Organizes the Activities of the “Hammoud Nasser Al Jabri” Holy Qur’an Competition
Under the patronage of the President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, and in the presence of His Eminence Sheikh Daoud Al-Asousi, representative of the sons of the late Hammoud Nasser Al-Jabri, and with the wide participation of the University’s employees, the winners and their families, the activities of the first “Hammoud Nasser Al-Jabri, may God have mercy on him,” prize for memorizing the Holy Qur’an were concluded at the Centennial Stage at Amman Arab University , where (34) participants were honored with attractive financial prizes.
The award activities were organized by the Faculty of Sharia at Amman Arab University, as part of the activities of the “First Quranic Forum for the Faculty of Sharia” over a period of two days.
On this occasion, Dr. Al-Widyan pointed out: It is a great honor at Amman Arab University that we meet for the first Hammoud Nasser Al-Jabri Award, may God have mercy on him, on the light of God Almighty, the “Holy Qur’an”, which is the best thing that people gather on in the ancient and modern times. He added that this honor comes as a continuation of For the activities of the first Quranic forum launched by the Faculty of Sharia at the University as part of ongoing activities, God willing, in which the faculty contributes to spreading the meanings of love for the word of God Almighty and emphasizing the goodness, blessing and happiness radiated from His light.
Al-Widyan expressed his sincere thanks to everyone who participated in the success of this competition, especially to mention and praise the sons of the late Hamoud Nasser Al-Jabri from the State of Kuwait, for their generous support for the first competition of the Faculty of Sharia for memorizing the Holy Quran at the level of the capital Amman and at the University level. After the competitions, he stressed the keenness of Amman Arab University to always support excellence and creativity in various fields of science, especially in Sharia sciences, based on the vision and mission of the University in excellence, creativity and community service.
