Discussions between "Amman Arab University" and the Cultural Attaché of the State of Qatar
Amman - Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, visited the Cultural Attaché of the State of Qatar and was received by the Qatari Cultural Attaché, Mr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud Al-Sharif, where they discussed ways to enhance academic cooperation and consolidate educational relations.
During the meeting, which was attended by Dr. Malik Al-Harafsheh, Director of the International Office and External Relations, Mr. Anas Kasu from the Department of Media and Public Relations at the university, Dr. Alaa Al-Din Al-Tawaha and Professor Ghassan Al-Zayoud, the academic advisors at the attaché, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides, where Prof.Al-Widyan praised the participatory role that the attaché is committed to follow up the affairs of Qatari students , as well he explained of the academic majors and programs taught at the University and which are unique to Amman Arab University, such as aircraft maintenance.
Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan indicated that the University has recently been included in the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework, which comes as a result of the University’s excellence in its educational programs and its focus on all practical and research aspects, and he also added that the University has made great progress in a number of international rankings, which comes as a result of the efforts of all University employees.
For his part, the Qatari Cultural Attaché, Mr. Hamad Al-Sharif, praised the distinguished efforts made by Amman Arab University to make the education process for its students successful and to improve academic outcomes.
