Training workshops for Faculty members in "Amman Arab University"
Within the framework of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center’s endeavor to develop and raise the level of academic and administrative faculty members’ performance at Amman Arab University, the Academic Development Center, in coordination with the E-Learning Center, concluded the activities of workshops and training programs directed to faculty members for the second semester 2021/2022, where the Center held five Training workshops over a week were carried out by a number of specialized trainers and lecturers targeting all academic categories of faculty members, with the participation of more than 150 faculty members.
The topics of the workshops and training programs focused on modern technologies by teaching using EON, preparing course learning outcomes, designing interactive electronic courses, and other topics related to faculties, academic departments, scientific research and publishing.
It is indicated that EON is: an educational and training platform that uses Augmented Reality technologies and Virtual Reality, where the teacher or trainer can create interactive lessons related to augmented and virtual reality technologies without the need for any programming or advanced technical knowledge.
These lessons can then be published to the target groups of students, trainees, employees or the general public .
It is noteworthy that the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center holds, on a quarterly basis, many workshops and training programs within the annual academic development plan, in line with the University's strategic plan, and to achieve development at the local and global levels in all fields.
