AAU Hosts PRIMA’s Introductory Workshop
Under the sponsorship of Professor Mohamad Al-Widyan President of AAU, the University with the partnership of the Higher Council for Science and Technology and Scientific Research and Innovation Support Fund held a two-day introductory workshop for PRIMA projects on the centennial stage participated by many state and private universities.
In his opening speech, Professor Al-Widyan welcomed the attendees specially Mr. Oktavi Quentana, PRIMA project manager ,Mr.Omar Amawi ,vice-director of PRIMA, and Dr. Mahmoud abu Husain ,Director of International Cooperation in Higher Council for Science and Technology .Professor Al-Widyan pointed out that AAU is one of the universities focused on research and development projects coping with its vision and mission to achieve entrepreneurship and distinction based on the deep feeling of loyalty and communication with society .
His Excellency, Professor Al-Widyan added that AAU is exerting its efforts to implement the development research, social and environmental projects and cultural activities to perform the mission efficiently. He also thanked Higher Council for Science and Technology, Scientific Research and Innovation Support Fund, Professor Abu Al-Rub, project coordinator and administration of PRIMA project in Mediterranean Area.
