Faculty of Pharmacy at “Amman Arab University” Enhances Academic and Student Exchange Opportunities with Miami College
Dr. Sama Taha, along with a selected group of pharmacy students, participated in the Global Solutions Conversations Program during the first semester of 2024-2025.
Dr. Sama explained that the Global Solutions Program is a virtual exchange initiative aimed at supporting workforce development in both the United States and Jordan through two main programs: the Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge and the Global Solutions Conversations Program.
This program consisted of a series of virtual exchanges spanning six weeks, from early October to late November 2024. It involved global bilateral conversations where students exchanged knowledge, explored each other’s cultures, and engaged in design thinking processes to discuss global issues within their communities.
The students proposed community project ideas aimed at addressing local and global sustainable development goals, which contributed to fostering global citizenship, enhancing problem-solving skills, and building lasting connections. Moreover, the program improved students’ communication skills through collaboration and virtual exchange.
