Faculty of Engineering at Amman Arab University organizes a course to improve students' ability in architecture
The Department of Architectural Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Amman Arab University, recently hosted a training course titled "The Basics of Drawing and Architectural Presentation." The course was supervised by Eng. Maryam Al-Mashaikh, a faculty member in the university's Faculty of Engineering, and presented by Engineer Farah Rummaneh,. This initiative is in line with the Faculty of Engineering’s mission to deliver high-quality teaching, foster innovative learning, and produce outstanding engineering research that benefits society and equips the workforce with essential skills.
Throughout the course, participants learned the fundamentals of architectural drawing, including the proper use of various drawing tools. They also explored different types of projections and their specific details. The course provided hands-on experience in creating both horizontal and vertical projections for architectural projects. In addition, it offered a comprehensive explanation of the principles of drawing and presenting architectural projections, covering a wide range of techniques and applications in the field of architecture.
