Amman Arab University recently hosted Architect Alaa Washah for an applied lecture as part of the "Professional Practice" course for architecture students. During the session, Engineer Washah presented a detailed overview of professional architectural practices, including licensing engineering offices, project management from design to permits, and quality control during implementation. Using examples from local projects, she highlighted challenges in planning and execution and stressed the importance of adhering to engineering codes, drafting comprehensive agreements, and ensuring collaboration among disciplines like structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
