Amman Arab University Excels in Evaluating Pharmacy Students with a Realistic Practical Exam
College of Pharmacy recently conducted a Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) to assess students' practical skills. Designed by faculty, the exam included various stations focusing on clinical evaluation, pharmaceutical consultation, and patient communication. Dean Dr. Rania Abu Hweij commended the training committee for their dedication to this globally recognized assessment method. The OSCE aims to enhance students' competencies, preparing them for the healthcare job market.
Committee chair Ms. Mai Al-Hawamdeh highlighted the importance of real-world simulations in building student confidence. Students expressed satisfaction, viewing the exam as a valuable experience that identified their strengths and weaknesses.
