University Representative Presents Research at International Quality Assurance Conference
Dr. Ahmad Al-Husban, Head of the Aircraft Maintenance Department at Amman Arab University, participated in the 12th International Arab Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education (IACQA 2025) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
He presented a research paper titled “A Systematic Approach for Enhancing the Students’ Awareness in the International Accreditation Student-Centric Criteria,” co-authored with colleagues from the university. The research, based on a study of 192 students, proposed a systematic method to improve student understanding of key accreditation criteria through workshops, surveys, and practical implementation in lectures and exams.
Dr. Al-Husban highlighted how this approach contributed to the Faculty of Aviation Sciences successfully securing a 5-year American (AABI) accreditation for its Aircraft Maintenance program. This participation underscores the university's commitment to advancing quality assurance and enhancing educational outcomes in aviation education.
