Students from Amman Arab University's (AAU) Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE–AAU) Win Global Award at World Energy Conference 2025

In a new international achievement added to Amman Arab University's record of excellence, students from its chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE–AAU) have won the "Best Social Media Campaign" award during the events of the AEE World Conference & Expo 2025. The conference was held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, with the participation of a select group of experts and researchers from around the world.

This honorable accomplishment fulfills the vision and mission of Amman Arab University in providing distinguished education and scientific research that serves the community and meets labor market needs. It falls within the University's continuous efforts to promote leadership and creativity in the fields of energy and sustainability. The award crowns the student team's efforts in designing and implementing innovative awareness campaigns on social media, aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of renewable energy and energy efficiency, and promoting a culture of sustainability and community participation in environmental and developmental issues, especially during the new student orientation period.

This achievement was realized with the support and follow-up of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, under the guidance of Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and under the supervision of Dr. Akram Mousa, Head of the Renewable Energy Engineering Department. This underscores the University's commitment to enabling its students to actively participate in specialized international forums in the field of sustainable energy.

The student was represented in this success by: Student Abdullah Abu Rabee', Chapter President; Student Mahfouz Abu Hanieh, Vice President; Student Shahd Al-Shab, Secretary; and Student Rama Hossam, Social Media Manager. The award was received during the honoring ceremony by Student Tala Al-Manasrah , the Chapter's Events Manager, representing Amman Arab University.

This global win embodies Amman Arab University's commitment to graduating qualified, entrepreneurial competencies capable of competing globally and solidifying its status as a leading academic institution in supporting excellence and innovation in the fields of engineering and sustainable energy, thereby contributing to national development and envisioning a more sustainable future.
