Engineering Faculty Holds Orientation Meeting for Students
The Faculty of Engineering at Amman Arab University has held an orientation meeting for its students, led by Dean Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf and involving academic department heads and staff.
The meeting aimed to support students' academic journeys and introduce them to the faculty's programs, course registration procedures, teaching staff, and blended learning methods. Emphasis was placed on the importance of attending lectures and engaging with e-learning platforms.
Dr. Al-Assaf detailed the key learning outcomes—Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills—that students should focus on. He also discussed the vital role of practical training, career paths aligned with market needs, and extracurricular activities like the Jordanian Project in Aviation Safety.
Soon-to-graduate students were advised on preparing for the University Competency Exam, and feedback from new students was welcomed. This event is part of the faculty's ongoing efforts to integrate students into university life and prepare them for successful careers.
