
Dr. Al-Samadi from "Amman Arab University" (AAU) Participates in "Horizons of Innovation in FinTech" Workshop
Reflecting Amman Arab University's commitment to strengthening its academic presence in specialized FinTech events, and under the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, University President, urging academic staff to engage in strategic scientific activities, Dr. Ra'ed Al-Samadi, Head of the Finance Department at the Business Faculty, participated in the training workshop titled "Horizons of Innovation in FinTech."
The workshop was held as part of the Jordan FinTech Festival 2025 activities and saw the participation of a select group of academics and experts from various Jordanian universities.
The workshop was organized upon the invitation of the Jordan FinTech Academy, in cooperation with the Banking Studies Institute. It aimed to highlight the latest developments in the field of financial technology and its role in supporting innovation and developing banking and financial services, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the financial sector locally and regionally.
In this context, Dr. Ahoud Al-Khasawneh, Dean of the Business Faculty at Amman Arab University, emphasized that the Faculty's participation in such events aligns with the University's approach to enhancing partnerships between higher education institutions and the financial sector. She stressed the importance of integrating FinTech concepts into academic programs to prepare a generation of graduates equipped with the necessary digital and cognitive skills to lead the transformation in the finance industry.
It is noteworthy that the Jordan FinTech Festival 2025 is a leading national platform that brings together academics, specialists, decision-makers, and representatives from the public and private sectors to discuss opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in the national economy and to explore future horizons for innovation in financial technology.
