College of Education at Amman Arab University (AAU) Conducts Workshop titled "How to Prepare Action Research"
As part of the ongoing cooperation between Amman Arab University and educational institutions, and stemming from the commitment of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences to enhance its role in community service and develop educational competencies, the College—in collaboration with Jesarah National Academy Kindergarten and Schools—organized a specialized training workshop titled "How to Prepare Action Research." The workshop was presented by Dr. Bassam Ghanam and Dr. Mohammad Al-Karamneh, faculty members in the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences.
The workshop aimed to empower female teachers to utilize action research and its applications in the classroom environment, develop their abilities in preparing and implementing research projects based on effective classroom practices, and employ the results of action research to improve the quality of teaching and learning. The presenters addressed the concept of action research, its importance, benefits, and implementation steps, along with mechanisms for writing a research plan and relevant statistical analyses. The workshop witnessed active participation from the teachers through an open discussion session that enriched the workshop's content, during which they provided constructive contributions and engaged in training activities and practical applications, expressing their interest in employing action research as a tool to improve teaching methods and enhance student achievement levels.
At the conclusion of the event, Mr. Ma'an Al-Qaisi, General Manager of Jesarah National Academy, praised the workshop's content and the competence of the presenters, appreciating the pioneering role played by Amman Arab University in serving the local community and its commitment to transferring academic and applied expertise to the educational field, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of education and developing the educational process.
