In implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Wedian, President of Arab Amman University, and with continuous follow-up from Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the Faculty, the Faculty of Engineering hosted Eng. Munqeth Zalloum, General Manager of MAP Architects & Contractors, and Eng. Ahmad Al-Natour from MAP Architects & Contractors, to deliver a lecture entitled: “In the Modern Workforce: Trends, Challenges & Project Management.”

The lecture was supervised by Dr. Reham Al-Asmar, a faculty member, and was delivered as part of the Project Management course. Eng. Zalloum reviewed the latest trends and challenges in project management within the modern work environment, highlighting practical experiences and innovative approaches to managing engineering projects. He emphasized the importance of adapting to rapid changes and modern technology as a key factor in ensuring project success. He also stressed the role of project management in improving work efficiency, reducing costs, and achieving the project’s defined objectives.

In turn, Eng. Al-Natour delivered a specialized presentation addressing engineering project management from an architectural perspective. He reviewed how project management concepts are applied during the design and execution phases, with a focus on the importance of integrating technical, financial, and time-related aspects in architectural projects.

At the conclusion of the lecture, participating students and faculty members affirmed the importance of such specialized lectures, given the added value they provide to the educational process by strengthening the link between the academic framework and practical applications in the labor market. This, in turn, contributes to building students’ capacities and enhancing their readiness to face professional challenges in the field of engineering project management with efficiency and competence.
