Under the directives of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, emphasizing the need to enhance students' practical skills, the Faculty of Law hosted Military Judge Amer Al-Halsah, a judge at the State Security Court. He delivered a specialized lecture titled "State Security Law: Jurisdiction, Constitutionality, and Contemporary Challenges," attended by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Thnibat, Dean of the Faculty of Law; Dr. Sultan Al-Atin, Head of the Law Department; faculty members; and students.

During the seminar, Judge Al-Halsah presented a comprehensive overview of the State Security Court's jurisdiction, discussing its constitutional basis and role within Jordan’s criminal justice system. He addressed prominent cases tried before the court in recent years. The lecture was distinguished by its depth and substantive content, offering students a rare opportunity to understand the practical dimensions of state security law through direct judicial experience.

Dr. Al-Thnibat welcomed Judge Al-Halsah, commending his judicial contributions and stressing the importance of such academic engagements. He noted that these events expose students to practical expertise and high-level judicial experiences, bridging academic knowledge with real-world legal practice. Hosting national judicial figures aligns with the faculty’s plan to strengthen practical dimensions in education and connect theoretical knowledge with Jordan’s judicial reality.

Dr. Al-Atein emphasized the value of hosting judicial experts to link theory with practice, allowing students to closely examine the State Security Court’s jurisdiction and its role in Jordan’s legal system. The dialogue was moderated by Dr. Manal Al-Breizat, Assistant Professor of Criminal Law, who facilitated discussion between the judge and attendees. She introduced key topics that fostered constructive interaction between students and the speaker. The seminar featured notable student engagement, with precise legal questions reflecting their interest and benefit from this enriching academic event.
