
Amman Arab University Holds Alumni Meeting for IT Faculty to Strengthen Ties and Academic Development
Demonstrating its commitment to fostering strong connections with graduates and maintaining their engagement with the university community, Amman Arab University's Faculty of Information Technology, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs (represented by the Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up Office), organized a meeting with a group of IT faculty alumni. The event was attended by Dr. Rami Sahwil, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; Dr. Mohammad Ben Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs; Dr. Kamal Aliyan, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; department heads; Dr. Rami Al-Hanandeh, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs; Mr. Wael Al-Hourani, Director of the Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up Office; and several faculty members.
Dr. Sahwil expressed pride in the faculty’s distinguished graduates, whose professional achievements reflect the academic excellence the university strives to uphold. He emphasized the importance of alumni feedback in enhancing the faculty’s academic and administrative development, noting that such insights go beyond curriculum evaluation—extending to teaching methodologies, student activities, and training programs aligned with evolving labor market demands. He highlighted that this feedback is crucial for keeping pace with rapid technological advancements, ultimately improving graduates’ readiness for dynamic work environments.
For his part, Dr. Ben Tarif welcomed the alumni, conveying greetings from Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, along with his wishes for their continued success. He reiterated the university’s dedication to maintaining open communication channels with graduates to benefit from their academic and professional experiences. Alumni were also encouraged to update their details via the university’s dedicated portal and join the "Amman Arab University Alumni Forum" on Facebook.
