Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in an International Workshop on Active Learning and Developing Critical Thinking Skills
Amman Arab University participated in an international workshop titled "Building Capacity Active Learning Strategies for Developing Critical Thinking in a Changing World," organized by the British Council. The workshop aimed to emphasize the role of active learning in enhancing academic outcomes and graduate preparedness. University representatives, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tawalbeh and Dr. Samah Al-Amri, engaged in discussions focused on aligning these strategies with the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework.
The sessions involved analyzing a teaching model from the university's English Language program and redesigning it using the Six Learning Types Framework to boost student engagement and critical thinking. This participation underscores the university's commitment to adopting advanced educational methodologies and building partnerships to foster an innovative learning environment for its students.
