Al-Salamat from "Amman Arab University" (AAU) Participates in the First Scientific Conference on "University Violence"
In line with Amman Arab University's commitment to enhancing its academic and community presence and contributing to addressing national issues, Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamat, a faculty member in the College of Law, participated in the first scientific conference titled "From University to Community – Partners in Confronting University Violence." The conference was held at Jerash University from October 20-22, 2025.
During the conference proceedings, Dr. Al-Salamat presented a scientific research paper titled "The Phenomenon of University Violence and the Role of Universities in Limiting Its Spread from the Perspective of Faculty Members in Jordanian Universities." The paper provided a scientific analysis of the reality of violence within university campuses, highlighted its main causes and repercussions, and reviewed the roles of universities and academic administrations in confronting it through awareness programs, student activities, and the promotion of dialogue and national belonging values.
This participation stems from the College of Law's belief in its academic and community role in addressing challenges affecting the university environment and contributing to the production of applied knowledge that informs educational policies aimed at fostering a safe and balanced university atmosphere.
